Added higher brake/turn signal lights along with LED tail lights for safety, not to overpower.

I see there is now a flashing LED brake light bulb. Called the BRAKER. About 1/3 down on this page: http://superluminati...m/1156_1157.htm

Check these out http://www.webelectr...om/products.htm

I installed the wire in Brake Light Pulser and Day Time Running Light kit on our Scion XB and the plug in BLP on my SSR. They work great and are easy to install about 10 min for the BLP.

Hey, I like these! Will they work in the Casita tail lights?

I am considering buying one of these wireless rear brake lights but other projects take priority. No wires or drilling required. I haven't checked the lights to see if it will work on my trailer.

Looks like the right one but it reads "mounted vertical" I googled and cant find anywhere else but I think I need a pair of these to go with my LED brake lights.

Don

I just finished mounting these brake/turn lights vertically one on each side of my rear window:
_2_TP018C_1.jpg
These are available from www.closertowholesale.com for under $40.
There's a flat space to either side of the window that made in unnecessary for me to use shims like Don did. (LEDs are directional so they need to be facing straight back.) However, I had a bear of a time trying to snaked the wires under the rat fur in my Scamp; ended up slicing it open and then gluing in back down. It shows a little but I'm glad for the security the lights will provide, especially when I've got the bike rack on.

Just FYI: Many states (such as Oklahoma) have laws that say you cannot have any flashing light on a vehicle other than turn signals and emergency park lights. Flashing brake lights are illegal in Oklahoma and could result in tickets.

It never fails no matter how fast I run there is always a tailgater behind me so where did you get your LED tail lights and I see they also install a second set where the reverse lights where. I don't use the reverse lights so was it hard to rewire the lights thanks

I got mine at KMT Service Parts. www.kmtparts.com But they are available from multiple sites on the net also.

Oh - OK ... To change these:
010_OEM_taillights.jpg into these: 120_Brakelight_at_night.jpg

I used Part # 55-8445 from PPL - view it at:

The mod takes about 10 minutes maximum and the results were worth the bucks to me. You can view the entire mod at:
