"How to make mountains from mole hills"

It's Dri Dek Rocket Science =

You start with four tiles snapped together forming a 24" X 24" mat. You trim ONE inch from one side and ONE inch from the side opposite where you just trimmed. You snap ONE of the trimmed away pieces to ONE of the untrimmed sides. BINGO, you have a new mat that is 22" X 25" and another piece 1" X 24" scrap to toss.

Your are now a DDRS.

Harold

BUT, this cutting method applies only to the bathrooms that don't have the new-style cabinet below the sink. Those floor dimensions are different.

It is slightly smaller, but still takes 4 Dri-Dek tiles.

Hargrl,......the new shower floor size is just a bit smaller than 24"x24",....we went to Rice with four sq.s(24'x24") of Dri Dek,......the very first thing I did after setting up at the American RV Park for our first night was to measure that area, snap the four Dri Dek's together into a 24" sq. and cut to size(the first of many mods to come),.......did discover if cut too precise, it can be difficult to lift up for cleaning under, so I nipped one corner to have a finger lift area, ...works great

Hate to sound to ignorant of the matter but am a newbie, as an excuse. What is the purpose of the dry deck?  Different from a shower mat?

I guess in some ways it's not necessarily different from a shower mat,.......its non-slip, also raises you out of the shower water, and w/ the many color selections can be an attractive addition to your trailer,......but there are other choices, like teak wooden pallets, and the always available inexpensive choice of "nothing at all",  ..... so, while not everyone uses dri dek , I've never heard anyone who does say they regret getting it,.......
