We are the proud owners of a 2018 Casita Spirit Deluxe 16ft and took delivery on December 19th. The Casita Plant front door opened at 8:00 am sharp, we were greeted by the receptionist and very shortly after Carla was offering us a cup of coffee. Everything was done in a Very Professional Manner to include at the beginning... DO YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR CASITA, then....we have prep work to do on your trailer & tow vehicle. After that, a walk-thru for the operations and features of our New CASITA. After that it was time for the paperwork and the check writing to pay for our New Play Toy. After everything for delivery was completed, we chose to take a tour of the plant, a good experience, and we would encourage everyone to take advantage of the tour. Our delivery date was Rain & Cold and that was the only unpleasant thing we encountered.

When we departed Casita, we headed for Hogg RV Park in Quitman, TX to try out our new purchase. The following morning, NO RAIN FINALLY, we took a short trip, 10-12 miles, to Little House Customs for a few upgrades to our 16' Casita. We arrived promptly at 9:00am, NOT BEFORE. We were greeted by Larry & Debbie Gamble and the experience, again, Very Pleasant. Larry walked through the items I had on my list and made a few recommendation, some...you don't need that, and others, you might consider this. In the end we added a couple of modifications and deleted a couple so.... cost wise it was a wash. They completed the modifications and we were on our way back to Hogg RV Park by late afternoon.

The next morning, STILL NO RAIN, so.....we quickly headed back to Florida where we were greeted by high 70's, NO RAIN, weather. We are truly blessed here in Florida, MOST OF THE TIME.

Our current plan is simple....Head for Oscar Scherer State Park, Osprey, Florida, 10 miles from home, and work our any bugs. From there, will spread our wings, Avon Park, Sebring, Florida, maybe the Keys. We definitely will not go North  or back West until Late Spring or beyond. Snow, Sleet, and Ice are all.... a part of a past life and we choose "NO RETURNS TO THE PAST"....

A GREAT Experience to date and we look forward to crossing paths with other Casita Owners down the road....

So glad all went well! We'll pick up ours in March and have to head straight back to Florida.....we are also looking forward to many of our camping spots in FL with a camper instead of our tent! Enjoy!
