Hello,

So, I have read numerous older posts on installing curtains and I am not sure I got what I needed.

I would like to completely get rid of the vertical blinds without having to drill into Fiberglass.
I would like to use the existing metal brackets but I am not that savvy with curtain rods. We would like double rods (one for a veil and another for a solid material that will block sunlight). If anyone has done this before, I would apppreciate rod part numbers and/or detailed photos of the set up.

Thanks!

I suggest you do a search for curtains on this forum and the other one. Many people have curtains with or without the mini blinds (I have both) and there are many many ways to do it. A lot of it comes down to how professional you want it to look, how inventive you are with creating your own way or improving on someone else's idea. Heaven knows you can spend a lot of money or little, it's up to you.

I mounted a piece of wood on the brackets that were there for the blinds and attached the curtain hardware to that. Works good. Wood is about 1 x 1.5".

Thanks for the replies.
With my wife around, it has to look really good, so I will be looking at all options.
