Arizona is on our list, but probably not until early next spring. Our next big adventure is to Lassen National Park in September.

Calling all campers! Anybody interested in a get together sometime in June in Arizona? Say up on the Mogollon Rim or in Flagstaff or anywhere? My Casita has been in storage since last July and I need to get it out! Somebody smack me upside the head already!
We would love to meet other Casita owners and get something going here. The Rim is a wonderful place to camp.

I love the rim and that's usually where we camp in the summer. We'll be headed that way later this month. I haven't made a firm decision on our destination, but believe we'll be camping the 27th-29th (we have weekdays off). If you have any great suggestions, let us know! My husband's parents live in East Mesa.
Larry,
I stopped in Lassen last fall and it was pretty neat. I wasn't there that long but hiked down to the thermal activity and keep a picture of the park as my computer wallpaper. Out of Lassen I took backroads north and happened upon a lot of neat places, including a great hot springs I hiked to. Lots of great stuff off the beaten path in that neck of the woods! I tried to add a picture but it wasn't small enough and I'm not computer savvy enough to figure out how to make it work!

Thanks for the replies!

I think we've decided on the Flagstaff KOA on June 27-29.
Hi Frank and Sue,
We are headed up around Page the 19th. Will go to the north rim of Grand Canyon and and stay all week at that area and lower Utah. After the lst of July we are headed to Oregon for the National RV rally abouth the 9th and after 4 days there we will come down the coast to San Diego and then back home. Probably be gone for three weeks. Should be a great trip. Maybe someday we can get together.

We're not afraid of those monsoon storms while we're in our Casita! Couldn't say the same about six years ago when our tent almost washed away during a monsoon storm in Sedona!

We've been to Flagstaff and Sedona a few years back and hopefully will do it again with our Casita in the not too distant future. When? I have to work with my trip planner, Sandy, on a date.
About your Lassen photos:
Reduce the widest side to 7", resolution to 72, and save as a JPEG or jpg file. Leave the color unchanged. The opposite side will reduce proportionately. A JPEG file is for posting on the web and can also be used as an attachment to an email.
I use Adobe Photoshop for this. Any photo imaging program should work.
You can also adjust the size with a photo scanner.

Thanks for the photo trips. I recently downloaded a "powertoy" for windows that lets me downsize photos and I can finally post some!
We had a great time once again in Flagstaff on the 24th. If you are out this way camping in the high country let us know!!

Yes, we'll be out your way one of these days.
Haven't had a chance to use our new Casita due to foot surgery back in February. Fine now. In fact, we hiked up Mammoth Ridge (10,640 ft) a couple weeks ago.
Looking forward to Lassen National Park in a few weeks. This will be our first real trip since picking up the Casita in Rice, TX. Attached is a photo of us at the Casita factory.
Please let us know should you decide to head for the coast.

There've been years where it hasn't been. My guess is that it is since
we've had so much snow and rain in the state this past winter.
I'd love to meet you two up there, but my schedule is all up in the air for
most of this year due to a family illness. But I'll certainly pencil it in!
