I live in California, that doesn't fall into any of the catagories, is California considered anywhere else!?! Or are we a country of our own, with all the recall crap?

Hi Muralist! I think that we are a country of our own! I live in Southern California and figured that we fit in best to the Southwest, so that's where some of us are. Maybe we should get Eric to add a "West" thread. Where are you located? Northern or Southern Ca?

I think you're either Pacific NW or Pacific SW. Being in northern Nevada, I kind of have the same problem. Based on the vegetation, lots of sagebrush, I probably belong in the PSW but I'm actually nearer the PNW. Oh well, I'll just go with how I'm feeling at the time.

I liked your answer carol. Espicially where you live. Just go with how you feel.
By the way, how did the bunny rescue go? Did you release them or did they go to homes?
Chris, I live smack dab in the middle of Calif. the Bay area. Will you be going to the Lake Casitas ralley?

Hi Patty - Yes, we will be going to Lake Casitas and will be driving up on Friday afternoon. It's not very far for us. We live in Los Alamitos which is next to Long Beach and Seal Beach.

Hi Patty,

The bunnies, Rover & Clover, were released in my yard. We already have a lot of cottontails and I figured why not two more. The bird, Lucy, has been released also. She is an odd one, been on her own for quite a while (a couple of months) but still lands on the porch to visit. Sometimes, when we're sitting on he porch, she will land on my head or Jack's and seems content to just sit there a while. I guess we are still familly, but she seems to be doing quite well. :D

We really do need a place for California folks. We live in Auburn in the Sierra Foothills. Maybe Northwest could include California and b e called "West".??

Muralist???

Please refresh my memory .. I don't have a Patty on my list coming to our Lake Casitas Rally and I sure don't want to miss anyone. (I hope I didn't miss your email to me)

Please email me today ...

Your first and last names (for name tags) ....

What space are you in?

Will you be wanting to take the boat cruise?? Saturday morning 19 are going on the cruise.

How long are you able to stay at the lake?

I want to send you the list of attendees and the page with things that we have planned. Like the boat cruise.

Thanks Carol

I always thought California was part of the Southwest. Don't tell me those nutty Californians changed it on me again!! :D

Ooops, I guess that means me.

Anyways, for our purposes, California is included in the Southwest.

Sorry I caught this thread so late.

California has the same population as all of Canada.

It's geographic diversity makes it a microcosm of the entire United States (Maine's granite-shored lakes excepted).

One could spend 20 years exploring California and not come to an end.

I think we should we moved from "Everywhere Else" into an area of our own. All in agreement say "aye!"

I think its odd that there is a Southwest, Midwest, and Southeast, but no Mideast!
