We would like to sell our 2010 Spirit Deluxe. We would like suggestions for coming up with a fair price and how to market it.

Price would be determined by condition and extras/mods.   These trailer sell quickly so be ready for several calls.  I would recommend you view the classified on the Fiberglass RV website.....there are several trailers for sale there and it would give you a feel for pricing.  A good conditioned 2010 SD would sell for $13K to $16K in my opinion.....remember....list it a little high....you can always come down and make the buyer feel good.   Good luck.

Yes, be prepared for a quick sale.  These do sell fast.    I put our 1999 SD on the Classifieds and it sold within 25 minutes.   I had no less than 6 calls later that day and the day after.  It sold for the advertised price of  $10,500.   Settlement was transfer of funds to our bank.

Do make and post many good quality pictures of the inside and outside.  List standard equipment, plus options, plus any upgrades.  A clean well worded description is a must.

We sold 'Dinky,' our 2010 17SD over on The Casita Forum. It sold in 40 minutes and the phone rang for days... We could have sold it dozens of times.

As for price, while condition has a lot to do with the final selling price, if your Casita is in excellent condition, I would start at $19,000.

Yes, but...Rob, you turned a stock SD into a gorgeous piece of rolling art.  I remember some of your woodwork and I have the black out curtains you and Linda made. They're quality stuff, just like (I imagine, having never actually been in "Dinky") the mods you did to your SD.

These are the voyages of the small ship, "Grus Egg".
