4/19/2019 New Tires for the Hard Bald Eggsplorer

Installed new 15 inch wheels and Taskmaster Provider tires (ST205/75/R15, Load Range D) from eTrailer.com....$472 for all.

Size looks hardly different than the 14s that were on the trailer, but the Load Range, Max Speed, etc. is much better rating with the new 15s.  Looking forward to seeing how they perform over time.

Julian.....

I used eTrailer's Taskmaster tires on my previous 17' Casita for years, and found them entirely satisfactory.  Here's wishing you the same.

Nice!  I did the same, but 225's.  They've been doing great for 2 years now.

I did just get them balanced at the local shop as they come unbalanced.

You'll like the larger wheels.  I had the original low axle on my 2003 17SD exchanged by Casita for the high axle, then had 15 inch rims and tires put on.  I like the safety of the higher load factor, and the higher road clearance.
