Hi to everyone,

My wife and I live in Virginia and we have recently retired. We are sailors (Camden is my boats name-where the mountains meet the sea).

We primarily sail in the Chesapeake bay but we have cruised north to Maine and south to the Bahamas.

The plan is to continue to sail but add land cruising to our adventures. We love to hike and want to explore the parks.

We have upgraded our vehicle to be able to tow a Casita. We are now in process of searching for a camper to start our exploring.

Thanks for letting us join your club. We look forward to meeting like minded folks.

Camden.......

Welcome to this Casita clan!  Without actually being sure, I have the definite impression you're very comfortable with  fiberglass transport !

Hope to meet you somewhere down the road.

Frank

Welcome aboard, to continue your fiberglass addiction.

I've spent many hours on the foredeck of racing sailboat both one-design and PHRF. I think I have a permanent crease on my backside from "hiking out" on the rail.

You'll find Casita folks to be a friendly lot and very helpful if you have any questions.

Thanks for the welcome comments.

It is not a far stretch to go from a fiberglass boat to a fiberglass trailer.

I have to say the fiberglass trailer is much more comfortable than below deck on most of the boats I raced on. Bleach bottles would be the best description. Nothing like long haul offshore boat races sleeping in hammocks, no shower, maybe one hot meal a day to make you LOVE the creature comforts of a warm and fuzzy interior of a Casita. I only raced on one "luxury" type, a Beneteau.

Welcome aboard....sounds like you have a very enjoyable life and now want to enhance it with a Casita....you won't be disappointed....best little trailer out there but....then again....I am biased.   Safe travels by sea or land!

Welcome aboard from another ex-yacht owner turned trailer jockey. I too, kept my boat's name, "Euphoria," to use as my forum name when I signed on here. I still belong to our local yacht club as well, but now I just have a "land yacht." Used to love to cruise all over the Puget Sound, San Juan Islands, Canadian Gulf Islands, etc.
