The last time I used our Casita (to move it to safety for Hurricane Irma), when I backed into the 20X10 canopy, I hit the corner of the AC cover against one of the canopy cross bars and broke the back corner of the plastic cage/cover, or whatever it is called.

Can anyone tell the make and model of that AC cover for a 2007 17 FD?  Also has anyone replaced theirs themselves? Is iit a difficult job?   I have not climbed up there to look at how it is attached.  Can I do it myself, or would I best take it to a RV shop?

Thank you,

Just 4 screws if its a Mach 8. Probably similar on a Mach 1.  Very simple fix.

(left is Mach 1 - right is Mach 8)

a 2007 will be a polar cub, my 2003 has four screws on the top, easy to remove

I destroyed one backing under a tree 3 years ago

Well, I thought that Polar shroud would be the way to find it.  Then I learned at the Dometic site that Polar is just the color  (white), but there are a number of models that include the name Polar.

Maybe I am confused, but please a little more specificity would be greatly appreciated before  I spend over $100 to order one.

Thanks all
