I am missing the approx. 1 1/2 inch black rubber rain channeling material that goes right above the windows of my Casita. Anyone know where I can purchase this and what its proper name is? I also need to know the best glue for attaching the channeling. Thanks.

Can you post a picture?

I can't quite understand what your asking about. You say it's above the windows, my 99 17' SD does not have anything above the window frame.

Are you asking about the seal that goes between the window frame and fiberglass body?

Or maybe the rubber seal against the glass??

Do you have something like a gutter over the window?  Casita does not come with a gutter but some people have added them. Here is a link to an example.

PS: Some have used EZE RV Gutter.

I think they're asking about the trim piece that holds the glass in the frame. It's a type of plastic or hard rubber channel, but don't have a clue what it's called, or where to get it.

Thanks for your replies re: where to buy the channeling or the guttering that is above my casita windows.  I have been trying to upload photos for the past few days but no luck.  It seems my iphone and my computer are not speaking to each other right now. (lol)  I could send photos directly to your phone or email if that is ok with you.  Pls email me at gennyrenner@yahoo.com.

It could easily be that this guttering is an add on by the previous owner since many here are not familiar with it.  It has nothing to do with holding the glass in the frame or anything regarding sealing the windows.  It is up on top of the frame like a gutter.  Sorry that I can't get the photos to load on the forum.  I will keep trying. Thank you.

It does sound like something the previous owner installed.

Good luck getting your phone and computer to the bargaining table :rofl2:

Here are several possibilities. The second comes in black, or white.

Here are the photos I promised of the black rubber channeling.  Thanks, Carol, for your offer for help with the photos.  I think I may have figured it out tho.  Thanks to the rest of you for the links you published and for your comments. I think we have established that this was something the previous owner did after purchase. There were several links you all sent that were helpful in telling how I will probably be able to repair and replicate the guttering on the rest of the casita. Gratefully yours, Faith
