We just purchased a 2011 17' Casita Spirit Deluxe SD and are excited to learn more about the ins and outs of this fun little camper. We previously had a Roll-A-Home, which is a tiny little pop-up camper that is pulled behind a motorcycle, so 17' feels luxuriously large! My husband and I both did a lot of tent camping growing up, but neither of us have experience with a camper with real walls, AC, a kitchen, and a bathroom ... so all the systems are new to us.
Since we've heard the fiberglass campers referred to as marshmallows (as well as eggs) we jokingly started calling our camper "Stay Puft" - and I think that name will stick
We are both retired, so hope to do a lot of travelling all around the US - both in campgrounds and boondocking.
