Sometimes you're the bug, and sometimes you're the windshield.  Last week we were on US 12 in WA state, east bound, towing Grus Egg behind us.

In the past, when I've seen a Casita on the highway, I've waved. But only once before have I had it done to me.

A big white SUV.. Explorer size...came at us, west bound,  and the windows opened and everyone was waving at us!!

They weren't towing anything but I just know it was a carful of Casitans, waving hello.

So, hello, whomever you are, and hopefully we'll see you on the highway someday!

I give a wave to all fiberglass trailers as I go by, and stop & visit with any parked along the road.  When I'm not towing, I feel a bit foolish since they are probably wondering why, but hey, we are a small. but distinctive (and friendly) group!

We are!  In these days when one is more apt to receive the middle finger from a nitwit driver, a friendly wave is a treat.
