Go onto Casita Owners Facebook group and search for this person. He has a Casita/T-Globe.

Well, around 1999 or 2000 we did have a member in Japan.  He had a 16' Casita with bunks for his children.  We haven't heard from Aki for quite a while but he was very enthused about his Casita and shared some great camping photos.  His website is mainly written in Japanese but has some pictures that might interest you.  http://www.papapaddler.com/  Some of his CC posts are probably in the archives.

Are you living in Japan?

When I purchased my new 17SD at the factory in March 2003,  there were a good number of photographs in the show room of the Casita T-Globe.  Some pictures showed outings by a number of Casitas, usually pulled by small Japanese cars. Perhaps one reason for the lighter 16ft T-Globe.  I had the chance to see the inside of one.  It did not have the carpeting of the US version. Can't recall what material was on wall and ceiling  but it did serve as insulation. It was more solid and darker than our carpeting. The one thing I cannot recall is whether the entrance was on the left side or not, given Japanese traffic.

Go to the Casita Owners Facebook page and search the group with the phrase "Japan" - there are two current owners there, several camping with family pictures.

Fascinating! Nice pictures, nice camp sites. Thanks for posting.  So, T-Globes had their doors on the right side.  Actually, should have thought of that since normally one doesn't open the door until parked in a campground.  Learned something else - I thought only 16fters were called T-Globe and exported.  But the walk-around T-Globe video is definitely a 17ft, with the big rear window. So that one is at least 2003 or later.

I also note Mr. Masataka's Casita directory number is 1362.  Mine is 1372.  We're of the same vintage.

the walk around vidieo is newer Casita you can see the new cabinet in the bathroom and the three burner stove

however you can tell looking through the plastic on the walls it has that different textured cloth covering and not the rat fur found in the domestic Casitas
