I have seen towing questions numerous times on the forum. Everything from gross weights to hitches. I found this pdf Towing Guide and although it says Toyota on the first page it's actually very general and would apply to all towing. It does a great job of explaining towing and payloads. Take a look at it and see what you think. Perhaps if Eric likes it he can make a sticky out of it. The file was too big to make it an attachment so here's the link.
