We finally built our dream garage and it is large enough for both the Honda Pilot and the Casita...with room to spare! The attached photos show the Pilot and Casita the day we picked it up in Rice, TX (9/27/16) and the first time we parked the Casita in the new garage. Other photos show the garage at various stages of completion. The garage is 40' x 20' with a 40' x 12' covered patio area. We have two roll-up doors (10' x 10'); one roll-up door (6' x 7') and one personnel door (36" x 80"). We also have a 100 amp circuit breaker with 230 volt and 115 volt. The photo of the large rear roll-up door was taken right after installation and before they adjusted it to allow it to roll-up. We are blessed beyond words.

Looks NICE! Is that on Whidbey or in Texas? I am betting TX, mostly because it's been raining since September here in WA. (and the trees don't look like they are in WA.)

I notice you ordered the casita without the swooshes but still with the letters. I  like it. I never cared for the swooshes and removed them, as well as the name, but never gave a thought to keeping the casita logo.

Thanks Greg, Claire & Meadowlark...Yes, we are blessed in more ways than one! And the garage is in Texas. We ordered the Casita without the swooshes and kept the letters. We think is looks 'cleaner'...next project is to arrange the garage better.  It is a mess right now. LOL

Nice! It's big enough for a big diesel pusher.

It will be interesting to see how much "stuff" you fill it up with.

Reminds me of George Carlin's comedy bit on "STUFF"

Yes, designed that way so we can have access to the back of our property. Without the drive through design if would be tough to do so. We actually have a nice "circle area" back there where you can turn and head back through the garage.

Nice looking garage Karl, in another 6 months you will wonder where all your spare room went to! You never build them big enough.

I am lucky and have mine parked in my shop, and that's just because a guy bought my 57' VW off the back of a transport truck the day before I moved to Texas 3 years ago & it wasn't even for sale.

So since it's not sitting in there the Casita is but I can't pull through my shop I have to back it in.

You will notice the temp in there will be quiet warm this coming June till Sept. once that sun gets to shining at full strength and they close that North door some one left open this past Friday night!

I'm clear down in Hill Country and it got down to 29 deg Sat. morning :(  They can keep that stuff up North!

Don't fill it up to fast or we will see American Pickers there uncovering stuff and find this  big EGG under all this stuff and wonder what it is!

Hey and you say you are a Tulsa Boy, well so was I until I got moved to Ponca City in 73'   retired 3 years ago and came down to Hill Country but I will always be an OKIE at hart.

You are right about garages.  I thought I would never fill the garage that I built.  Those old VWs have a way of multiplying   B)
