We have purchased a 1989 16' Casita. We are the second owner. The previous owner took excellent care of this Casita.

We are retired and looking forward to many fun and happy road trips in our new camper.
I am sure i will have questions for y'all. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of this forum.
I have attached a photo of our trailer and my 1953 Chevy pickup that we tow it with.

Welcome to the forum. Sure like your truck. My first car was a 1953 Chevy Bel Air.

Welcome!  I also have a 16" Casita (second owner) 1998 and I love it. Bought it about a year ago and have had a great time camping in it.  We also have lots of collector vehicles (my husband's hobby) and we drove a 1953 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup as our main vehicle when we were first married for at least 2 years!  I am quite familiar with them. I have a pumpkin stand set up right now selling pumpkins out of a 1950 GMC 1/2 ton that's very cute too!

I will try to add a photo of it here if I can figure out how. (it says my file is too big...don't know how to change it)

Your Casita looks very well taken care of for its age. Have fun!

Thanks everyone for warm welcome. I have discovered a couple things I am going to have to work on. I'm sure the previous owner Knew all the settings on the refrigerator, but I will have to purchase or fabricate a couple knobs and indicator plates. It's supposed to switch from 120v, 12v, and propane. But without an indicator plate I have no idea which is which. According to the user's manual, if I count the detents, where the propane setting is supposed to be doesn't seem to be correct. I have not been able to get it to light. However it could also be that the valve is bad. I have been able to get it to run on 120v.
I have not been able to get the hot water heater to light either. So I guess I have a couple of projects to work on. 😉 Everything else seems to be in good working order. Not bad, really, for a 27 year old trailer.
Glad y'all like the "old blue" truck. It is an old, all stock, farm truck. I have had it about 4 years now. The original 235 L6 was a babbit bearing, splash oiled engine. I took a '59 block and built a new full pressure oiler 235. It has the original SM420 tranny and closed driveline. I swapped out the 4:11 gears for 3:55 in the rear end. It now cruises right along at 70 on the interstate.
I look forward to getting to know all of you. Have a great weekend!
