We have just bought a 2003 17ft. Casita that is in *prime* condition from a local friend.  We are so excited to start some new adventures.  We've been avid campers and look forward to all the different places that our Casita will take us!  We did live in a 5th. wheel for 6 months while we remodeled our house a few years back, so know a *tiny* amount about rv-ing... but we still have a TON to learn.  Hoping to take it out in the next month somewhere locally to work the bugs out before we go on a real adventure.  Nice to have such a knowledgeable group to help us newbies!  :-)

Welcome to the forum. From the photo it looks to be in great shape. The wife and I really enjoy ours which we use primarily for our weekend getaways. I'm retired but my sweetie is still working her little tail off. We try to do as many 3 day weekends as possible which turns out is wonderful therapy for my working gal.  Bet there's some beautiful camping up your way. I was born and raised in Ca. and still have family there. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.  This is a very friendly forum and there's always someone around to help out.

Congrats on your purchase.

Don't leave home without:

Consider spending $30. on the most comprehensive  manual around.

We printed our out our manual and had it bound at Staples..

Lists, ideas, how everything works..Tips, mods, suggestions..

This has been a life-saver.

Read the reviews, look at the index in the above lists..

See ya on the road..
