My 92 Casita Spirit has lost all its bling. Years of neglect by PO's has dulled or worse yet eliminated the gel coat or shiny leaving a nice pure white DULL finish. Looks good after a rain! Was wondering if I could spray clear coat. Color now looks like just base coat.

I have had good success in years past with synthetic cutting compound. Extremely fine cream that does not feel gritty at all. It takes a lot of careful rubbing but I was able to get the bling back one small area at a time whenever I was looking for something to do.

I know we use to spray some of the fiberglass components on aircraft in the navy. Been a long time ago. We used epoxy primer and top coat. They later switched to polyurethane which I personally never messed with. Talk to a Corvette body shop and painter. I know they have some really good paint systems out there now.

Would that be installed inside or outside the Casita? (Just had to ask...)
