I'm curious about RV resorts in Texas, not the membership kind. I've only been to State Parks & COE's tent sites. I acquired my '95 16ft SD this May & am ready to roll  her out. I get to go during the weekday so no crowds & discounts I look forward to.

Pet park, heated pool, pretty spot all things I'm looking for. Thanks for your input.

out of curiosity, i did an online search for "Texas RV resorts" and got over 619 parks! don't have any idea what areas of texas you're interested in, but looks like you've got plenty to chose from. being a tightwad, i'll wait for your reports on these luxury places after you've camped in them, i'm sure many are too rich for my blood, although i like the idea of dog parks/heated pools too! doggie day care on site would be really something. have a great time, claire and merlin, excellent schnoodle

Go to rvparkreviews.com

Look up the city or town you are interested in. All rv parks, COEs, state parks, national parks and rv resorts are listed for that area with actual camper reviews. If you have a specific park in mind, key in the city and your search is even less than the 619 that Claire googled. Happy camping. Sandy

Spent a week in the KOA on South Padre Island between Xmas and New Years. Had a great time - nothing bad to say about the park - would do it again.

If you are interested in the Rio Grande Valley, Llano Grande RV Resort is truly a resort. Golf, tennis, entertainment, swimming, shuffle board, café, large dog park, small dog park, etc. It is the best park I've ever been in. BUT it is in the valley.
