Yep! Our Scamp at City of Rocks State Park in New Mexico 2010.

About 30 miles North of Deming & I-10 Southern New Mexico. Also about 30 or a little less from Silver City.

Campsite "In the Rocks" kind of:

Paths in the rocks are neat places to explore.

View of the W/E sites & some full campsites which are not far from our dry campsite in the rocks. Also the Visitor Center, Showers & Offices.

Never had the desire to use Upgraded Campground in a flat area away from the Rocks.

We were returning home from our trip to The Tetons & Yellowstone in 2010. We only spend an overnight. It was one of the first places we camped in the Scamp in 2005.

Haven't been back since. Wanted to do so earlier this Spring & Summer, but things just haven't work out. When we finally get to go, it will not be with our Scamp. It's sold & gone to ABQ.

Nice pictures of an unusual and  interesting state park. Visited the park several years ago.  Thanks for the post
