There were three Casitas, two 17's and our 16 Spirit, at Furnace Creek CG in Death Valley today.  One of the rigs was in an unserviced site.  We made good use of our little AC and  wonder how they made out w/o the cool air.  We found out that our Highlander can actually haul the little house up and down those huge California hills safely, though not easily.  We're out for two months traveling in the west, so there are more hills in the future, for sure.

April is usually a great time to be in Death Valley, with mild temperatures and the possibility of lots of wildflowers.  But the weather has been unusual here in Nevada so probably is there too.  Are you seeing many wildflowers?  What are the temperatures?
