Hello. I am (a soon to be 4/1/2015) new owner of a 16' SD. I will be a solo traveler. I am retired and
I am looking for a new place to settle. Plan to travel around searching for that certain place that touches my soul. I am an engineer (mechanical and electrical - anything dealing with buildings)
My first project is to add solar power capability to the trailer.
Hope to meet some of you down the road.

Welcome. We live in Plano also and are picking up our Casita on April 9. I have been reading this forum for several months and find it a wealth of knowledge.

Hope to see you on the road sometime or maybe we can camp together some weekend.

Thanks to all who replied to my introductory post.
It is now about 40 days until I pick up my 16' SD. I am well into the mode/accessory planning and acquisition phase.
I have acquired a Honda EU200i and have converted it to tri-fuel. Also have aquired Andersen leveler, Andersen WDH, Prodigy wireless brake controller. I wanted the wireless controller because there is not a good place to put an in car controller in my SRX CadIllac TV..
I have been out to see the great folks at OMW and have ordered Hitch Receiver, Shock kit, generator lock plate, and open shelf utility platform. OMW Is going to modify the generator lock plate to hold the LP regulator and improve the.tri-fuel install.
All of the great information found on this forum and the other Casta forum provided much of the information that I used in figuring out what, why and where to get the accessories that I obtained over the past weeks. As soon as I've completed all the additions I will post up my experiences.
