Lot of private planes in West Texas. The windmill is probably the single most important thing in the early settlement of West Texas. 





Oil would be the most important for development, it does supply food and shelter in one way or another for a lot of the people out here. 





Wind turbines are starting to clutter the landscape, maybe the next boom.

Great shots, Arlon!  They just need a Casita.  :D


Architecturally speaking, I like the look of wind turbines. Was just thinking about that a couple of days ago on my way through Palm Springs.
