Dap,
Go to rvparkreviews.com

Scroll to city and park reviews of actual campers will come up. We use this site a lot. Sandy

Yes, I stayed there overnight in 2009 on my way to Colorado. The sites were close together and the park itself is no big deal. Nice scenery, but I'd only use it as a stopover, not as a destination.

The last pic in this group pretty much says it all.

My advice would be to continue north and go to Heron Lake State Park and Chama instead.

If spending time in Santa Fe is your objective, Santa Fe Skies will be fine. Be sure you get to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum downtown.

We stayed in Santa Fe Skies RV park several years ago when we first went skiing at Santa Fe ski area. It is definitely not a "destination" type campground. The was another big campground close by but it would not take small travel trailers or rigs over a certain age. Since then we just parked in the Santa Fe Ski area parking lot with our Casita and used it as our "ski in ski out condo" There are several National Forest Camp spots for RVs we would see on the road up. However, Hyde Memorial State Park is up that same road and not too far from Santa Fe, maybe 10 miles. It is a really pretty drive up  Hyde Road to the Ski area.
