Just got back last weekend from Little Talbot Island near Jacksonville (beautiful park, perfect for smaller campers - no big rigs).  Heading out next weekend to Suwannee River State Park.  This is the perfect time of year for camping in north Florida.  I think we've been from one end of the I-10 corridor to the other camping now!  Parking it over the summer (June - August . . . too dang hot), then back on the road in September!

When it's too hot, head north.....just getting up to the NC mountains is a huge difference.

FlaCasitaSeeker next time you are over near Crestview Fl check out Karrick Lake Campground its in the Blackwater State Forrest just above Baker. It has a campground on the south and north side of the lake.
