It seems that this subject hasn't been mentioned lately so here it goes.
Are there many or any Casita owners in WA State? We are located in Union Gap, WA and it would be terrific if there is anyone who would like to communicate. If so let us know.

Hi Latta & Lodia,
To answer your question, Yes there are quite a number of Casitas here in Washington. We also have a few fiberglass trailer get-togethers in WA State that bring in all kinds of fiberglass eggs, including a lot of Casitas.

We are in Olympia. Our SD is named Grus egg and has a photo of a pair of sandhill cranes (Grus canadensis) on the front. There's more Casitas here than you think.

Does BC Canada count? Canadians, some of us at least, sometimes wonder if the US government thinks of us as Mexico North and Mexico as part of the US, so does that make BC part of WA? ;-)

Latta and Lodia,

I just came across this forum for the Pacific Northwest this evening.  We are about 39 days away from getting our Casita.  Hopefully, you are still proud Casita owners.  We can't wait for ours.  Couldn't help but notice that you live pretty much in our neck of the woods...my wife works at WSDOT in Union Gap and we live in Moxee.  I'm driving down to Rice to pick it up (wife is flying to DFW where I'll pick her up the night before delivery), then stopping in Oklahoma to see my eldest daughter and family before heading back home.  Would be great to hear from you if you are still involved.

The last published Directory (May 2010) listed 43 members in WA. That doesn't necessarily mean those 43 persons in WA owned a Casita at that time. Neither does it mean all WA Casita owners were listed and of course there have been new additions to the WA flock since 2010.

How's that for a "not much help" answer?
