around mid september i'll be in the bay area (oakland,ca) and need to find a place to park the casita. i'll be visiting my son for a week or so and staying at his house so i'll not need access to the trailer during this time and would just like a secure spot while i'm there. the last time i visited him i got a campsite at anthony chabot regional park which was a wonderful place however, they were not keen on me leaving the trailer unattended so i had to maintain a "presence" there which meant a trip up into the hills every day or so. i'd gladly pay for a safe spot and would appreciate any suggestions you guys may have.

If you have not already found a place to park your Casita in Oakland perhaps
you could park it in Walnut Creek, 20 miles inland, right next to my Casita.

There's a storage facility on the east side of Castro Valley where I kept my Casita and TV over the summer a few years ago so we could fly home between our east to west and west to east cross country trips. I don't recall the name of the place but the people were really nice and the price was reasonable. It's on the right side of the highway heading east but still within Castro Valley. Mary Ann & Dick
