Hello All
After much feedback from people here, it seems that an Idyllwild get together is a good idea.

The dates are June 14th to June 17th.

The best park for our get together is the Idyllwild Park .. lick below for reservations, the RV sites are on map page two... sites 84 to 96 are the rv sites.. and all together

I need to work out my vacation schedule before I can reserve a campsite. Once I'm clear on that, I'll round up the troops.

Are you going to be reserving a spot or meeting us at the campgrounds?

I have planed, a guide hike and nature walk, wine tasting from wines of the region, a mountain bike ride, a guide to rock climbing if there is interest. A trip up the Palm Springs Tram if there is interest, working on group rate.
Plus .. as this is what I do as a real job, I think it would be cool to have a photo contest.. but only images from the Idyllwild get together, no ruiles, just had to me taken from the 4 days there. we will do a projection of the images of the event on the final night and pick a winner who will receive a trophy!! fun stuff!!!

Of course, you all know Elvis "The King" filmed "Kid Galahad" there in 1962. If you want some beautiful, color views of Idyllwild, check out the movie KID GALAHAD before you make the trip. The location is beautiful and the photography is gorgeous.

Haven't forgotten about this gathering, but I'm still working on how many days I'd need to take off from work plus the driving time.

Definitely are others interested, according to my informal survey at the Buckskin Mtn gathering.

Regretably, I'm not going to be able to make this gathering since I needed to use those vacation days to attend Bluebonnet. However, I believe a few others are still planning to be there.
