The dates have been confirmed for the 2012 Lake San Antonio FiberglassRV Rally for May 10 through 14, 2012. Like past tradition, this is Mother's Day weekend. Since Elvin & Sally Lowe have a family event during those dates, Marianne & Bill Dinsmore and Jim & Carolyn Johnson will be the hosts for the event. The Rally will continue to reflect the traditions set by the founders, Mike and Lori Sanders. They started the Rally in 2003. For the first two years, the rally was held at Camp Ocean Pines, in Cambria. They then moved the rally to Lake San Antonio, where it has been ever since. Much to our pleasure, Mike and Lori will be attending the 2012 Lake San Antonio Rally.
As in the past, the Host is making the reservations. If you want to attend, please contact me ASAP at marianne.dinsmore @ gmail.com and we will do our best to place you. The reservation cost for 2012 will be $40 per night plus a onetime $5 reservation fee. Dogs are $2 extra per night, per dog. Rabies shot verification is required, as per Monterey County code.
We are planning activities much like past Rallies and will let you know, as soon as the agenda is finalized. At this point, Bill & I, will provide “Friday Soup Night”. Other activities include Saturday Dutch Oven Workshop, Sunday Potluck and coffee in the mornings. If anyone would like to host other workshops, games or activities, please let me know!
