Maurice and Jane-you two DO get around. Are you going to Camp Hale this year? I do hope to see you somewhere down the road. Are you going to try to make it to Rob's Kansas Flint Hills Rally? I am definately going to that.

Kathi

Hi, Kathi

Yes, we are going to Camp Hale but not to Flint Hills as we will be in Kansas for the Milford Lake Rally, and two trips to Kansas in one summer is a bit much. Hope to see you on the road somewhere.

Happy camping, and safe travels

Glad to hear that so many people are going to Boyd Lake for a spring Casita get-together. We will be in the same loop as everyone else, but need to find our number--got reservations in early Jan. There was mention of Friday night cocktails and a potluck on Saturday night. Does anyone have any ideas on either of these? It has usually been "bring whatever you want" for a covered dish to share and your own dinner ware and drink--has worked well. We've had great community breakfasts too--any ideas here? We'll arrive around noon on Friday and leave on Sunday. Look forward to seeing everyone! Marka and Walt

I have a few questions.

I believe that there is a State Park policy about only 3.2% alcohol drinks? So how would this affect Friday? Last year at Cherry Cheek they ignored it without any problems with the rangers.

From the website:
"Can I bring alcoholic beverages?
Only alcohol containing 3.2% alcohol is permitted on park property. Possession of alcoholic beverages by anyone under 21 years of age is prohibited."

We have always hid the wine for dinner in the trailer. Is there anything firm about the food for Saturday? What do you do for a "Community Breakfast"?

Jane is getting antsy about what to bring.

It's become a tradition that we have cocktails & snacks on Friday around 6 and a potluck on Saturday same time. There are always alcohol restrictions, but as long as people are well behaved and in control, and don't flaunt it in front of the rangers there should be no problem. Never has been in the past.

I'm also going to send an email to the mailing list.

We've also heard that Ralph & Chris be in site #17 and Brett & Kandy will be in site #35.

So far we're counting at least 15 trailers will be at the Boyd Lake Rally. What fun!

Has anyone decide what they will be bringing for the potluck? Trying to decide what we will bring.

Thanks, Lynne

This will be our first rally...is it okay to bring dessert to the pot luck? If so, how much to bring?

We're really looking forward to meeting everyone!
