Super BBQ Friday night and what a spread of food for the pot luck tonight! A bit of fun with some music both evenings, too. Everyone had such a good time we're already looking forward to next year. I expect some of the attendees will be uploading photos somewhere online. When I get home I'm going to set up a website and will have links to them.

We enjoyed another Green Eggs and Ham Rally. The weather was kind to us again this year. It is great to get together with old fiberglass trailer friends and swap stories and get tips on places to go. I am amazed with the modifications and ideas this group brings each year. I was especially pleased to see such a variety of trailers in attendance this year. I feel very welcomed with having a C-Class, the new Element and the new Escapes at the rally. I think the variety makes for a more interesting open house tour. Thanks to Shorty and all of the fellow campers who helped make this a fun event.

Ditto on the FUN!

Good morning ALL! Yes it’s awfully early but I have to jump back into the frey with two feet! I have a few due outs as a result of the last get together and here they are:

1. Dates for the GE&H III are 14 – 17 March 2013 (Thursday – Sunday). By unanimous vote the location will remain the same.

2. Potential dates for a Fall Gathering in Huntsville, AL are 6 – 9 September 2012 (Thursday – Sunday)? This timeframe will allow working folks to integrate the Labor Day holiday (3 September 2012) into their trip. Just a thought. We will be starting a separate thread to address this event.
C ya!

Shorty,

Thank you and your teammates for a fantastic gathering. We were able to meet new folks and renew acquaintances with fellow travelers we have met in the last year and a half. The campground was first rate and each evening's food and music were most enjoyable.

We will return next year and maybe we can have a "Big Parade" for St. Patrick's Day. I loved this year's Parade, as small as it was.

Shorty,
You pulled it off once again! We're ready to do it all over again next year. Thanks for your efforts and those of the many volunteers. We enjoyed every minute of it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and look forward to next year. And thanks Shorty for the organization and to Jean and others for the signs, name tags, and so forth. And to the wonderful cooks from the Thursday night Gumbo to the Pot Luck Specialties. The planned activity level was just about right.

Green Eggs & Ham III. We decided it was time for a simple website to carry the info and bulk of the posts so I've set one up. There is a link to Pat's photos from the 2012 rally on it. I've also set up a simple "forum" so you can view previous posts and add a comment of your own. Please keep the subject to the rally. I am not going to monitor it every day but will check occasionally to be sure spam isn't being added. If anyone sees any of that please use the email link to let me know. As details about the GE & H III are developed they will be posted on the website, probably with a notice on this forum to check it.

I know the site address isn't a really short one but it is free and if you go there then add it to your favorites it will be simple enough to visit.
