If you are looking for a quiet, scenic camp with excellent facilities and nice three season weather (hot in summer) try the City of Rocks State Park. It is about 15 miles north of Deming off of 180. It is never full. You can camp in an organized site or up in the rocks alone, if you don't need hook ups.
