Happened to drop by a local tire shop. Guy there told me trailer tires should be replaced every three years. Sounding like a rather costly frequent expense, I thought it a good idea to ask those of you on the board before I invested my bean and hamburger money.
I would think that where the trailer was stored would make some difference on longevity, ergo will say that ours is garaged when not being used, off the cement floor on 2x8's. There are no visible cracks in the side walls. The tread looks as if it hasn't been on the road yet. Bought this rig new in 2002, so is it time to buy new tires??? Don |
